Brand Essence

Discover regional tastes & crafted beverages. Rich in heritage and abundant in local produce, Junction’s a gathering place celebrating the region’s finest.

Junction is a restaurant and bar located on the stunning Murray River in the picturesque Echuca Moama tourist district. The branding of Junction has helped this award-winning restaurant redefine the region for sophisticated dining.

Junction describes itself as a place where the rustic charm of colonial days and the comfort of contemporary culture meet. To craft the brand, unique and organic graphic elements were created to reflect the curving line and textural nature of the river-bed and the stunning colour of the regional landscapes.

In a nod to the location’s history and the industrial accents of the new restaurant, signage was crafted from hand-beaten copper, and copper stamping was featured on all printed collateral.

Artwork
An artist was commissioned to create a series of textured cement vessels that reflect the river’s layered sediment and ever changing water levels. These artworks were photographed and utilised as images which formed the basis of many of the touch points – from signage and stationery though to environmental graphics and uniforms.

Uniforms
This rich sense of provenance also imbued the in-dining experience, from menus featuring rich branded leather and staff aprons fashioned from crafted canvas, leather and brass.
